Share The Warmth

Our Share The Warmth program helps Kansans who need assistance with winter heating bills. The generous contributions of Kansas Gas Service customers help fund the program.

How You Can Contribute

  • If you pay your bill electronically, log in to your account and select the “Share The Warmth” toggle button. You can choose between donating a fixed monthly amount or rounding up to the next dollar.
  • If you pay by check, mark the “Share The Warmth” box on your bill to designate your overpayment to the program. This is a one-time donation.
  • Or, contributions may also be made directly to The Salvation Army. The Salvation Army will distribute contributions to qualifying families — regardless of what fuel is used to generate the warmth. For more information call us at 800-794-4780. Or contact The Salvation Army at 816-756-5392, select option 2.

How to Seek Aid

  • You must be the person responsible for paying your home heating expenses.
  • You must live in a county served by Kansas Gas Service.
  • You must be facing an immediate financial emergency that prevents you from paying your home heating costs.
