OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – May 9, 2018 – Kansas Gas Service will be installing electronic meter reading devices on residential meters in Pratt and Kingman, Kansas, beginning Monday, May 21.
To complete the installation, a technician will need access to customers’ natural gas meters. The installation takes a few minutes to complete and is not expected to result in any disruption of service to our customers. Customers should be aware that they may see a technician entering their yards to complete this installation.
Itron is the contractor assisting Kansas Gas Service on this project. The contractors performing the work will carry photo identification badges that identify them as a contract worker for Kansas Gas Service.
This project is expected to be completed in approximately three to four months, weather permitting. We do not anticipate any interruption to traffic.
