OVERLAND PARK, Kan. –August 15, 2017 – Kansas Gas Service has begun installing electronic meter reading devices on residential meters in Wichita.
To complete the installation, a technician will need access to the natural gas meter. The installation takes a few minutes to complete and is not expected to result in any disruption of service to the customer.
Olameter is the contractor assisting Kansas Gas Service on this project. The contractors performing the work will carry photo identification badges that identify them as a contract worker for Kansas Gas Service.
This project is expected to be completed in approximately five months, weather permitting. We do not anticipate any interruption to traffic flow.
