OVERLAND PARK, Kan. –June 30, 2015 –ONE Gas, Inc. (NYSE: OGS) announced that its Kansas Gas Service division recently presented Unified School District 380 in Frankfort, Kan., with a $4,800 grant from the ONE Gas Foundation.
The grant will assist in providing elementary students in Frankfort schools with technology and equipment for phonics and math programs.
Kansas Gas Service Communications Manager Dawn Ewing says Kansas Gas Service recognizes the importance of technology in today’s classroom. “Technology has become critical to a student’s educational experience, and we’re pleased to support the Frankfort School District in their efforts to help improve students’ education.”
The ONE Gas Public School Foundation Grant Program is designed to assist schools in developing and enhancing programs to improve the learning experience for K-12 students.
