Why would I need a protection plan?
Individual policies can vary, but standard homeowner's insurance often does not cover everything that may go wrong in your home or on your property. When making a claim through homeowner’s insurance, there may be a deductible or trip charge making you pay more than expected.

Are these plans required?
No, all plans offered by Oncourse Home Solutions are optional and are not regulated utility services. Plans are not provided or guaranteed by Kansas Gas Service. Your participation in, and your payment for, these plans does not affect your utility service.

If I enroll in a plan, will I see it on my Kansas Gas Service utility bill?
When you enroll, you may have the option to pay for your plan(s) through your Kansas Gas Service monthly utility bill. If you elect on-bill payment, charges will display on your statement as “Oncourse Home Solutions Protection Plan(s) in a separate section from your Kansas Gas Service utility charges.

How do I make a claim?
You can make a claim by calling Oncourse Home Solutions toll-free 24/7 at 866-933-1791. You can also make a claim by chatting with a customer service representative on the American Home Solutions website during standard business hours. How do I cancel my plan(s)?
Plans can be cancelled at any time with a simple 30-day notice by contacting Oncourse Home Solutions at 866-933-1791. You will only be responsible for payment for the months you were on the program.
Oncourse Home Solutions is an independent company separate from Kansas Gas Service. Your choice of whether to participate in a home warranty plan will not affect the price, availability or terms of service from Kansas Gas Service.
The plans from Oncourse Home Solutions are not regulated by the state utility commission. The program is offered as an option and is not a service in regulated rates. Kansas Gas Service customers are not required to sign up for a home warranty in order to receive regulated utility services from Kansas Gas Service. Failure to pay the home warranty service will not affect natural gas utility service.
